Toshiba’s super-charge ion battery (SCiB™)

Toshiba’s super-charge ion battery (SCiB™) products are a safe, high-performance, long-life, rechargeable battery solution for a wide array of applications ranging from electric bicycles to uninterruptible power systems. SCiB batteries charge in as little as 10 minutes and have a structure that assures an extremely low incidence of internal short circuits. A high level of safety in preventing thermal runaway is assured even if an internal short circuit is forced.
SCiB products also offer minimal degradation, even after 6,000 or more charge-discharge cycles. This lifespan is often equal to that of the electronic components in which they are used, thus eliminating the need for battery replacement and reducing the environmental impact of waste batteries.

24V 4.6ah NiMH Intercooled BattlePack

The intercooled BattlePack batteries will allow you to push your power output to new extremes. As robots continue to require more output from the same or less battery weight, keeping the cells cool enough to avoid damage is paramount. Active cooling not only allows you to draw high current longer from each pack, it also means you can turn the pack around for recharging that much faster. After extensive tournament testing and design revision we have put together a pack that will withstand all the heat the batteries can put out, as well as keep them cool through the whole match. By using rigid heat proof materials to separate each exposed cell these new batteries passively cool twice as well as the standard BattlePack. If that isn't enough, fans can easily be mounted on the packs to get the maximum cooling effect (The mounts fit standard 40mm fans like the ones used on the IFI Victor speed controllers, or you can use your own fans and mounting). If you want the most from your batteries, you want Intercooled BattlePacks. A PVC shrink cover will be added to the pack if fans are used
Metal Fighter
The Metal Fighter is produced by South-Korean based company Mini-Robot which is the same company that developed the popular Robonova robot which was distributed globally by Hitec.
The Metal Fighter is the second generation robot of humanoid robots developed by MiniRobot and as such includes newer more advance technology such as the MRC-3024FX microcontroller (which can control up to 24 servos). And based on their experience in designing robots, MiniRobot have designed the Metal Fighter to be easier to assemble and requiring less parts (should only take 1-2 hours to assemble with a screwdriver). In addition, it's light-weight rugged design means it will be more resiliant to falls and knocks.
Programmable with RoboBasic, a language field tested using the Robonova platform, the Metal Fighter ensures it is a versatile platform to learn about robotics and includes the ability to be expanded with such options as Zigbee wireless controllers, voice recognition modules, LCD displays and various senors (gyro, acceleration, ultrasonic).
RoboBasic is a programming language allowing advanced user more control over their robot which contains specific commands for robot operation. Used in conjuction with RoboScript and RoboRemcon the user has the ability to greatly refine their control over the robot.
AnyVolt 3

The AnyVolt 3 Universal DC-DC Converter is an adjustable step up / step down 3A switching regulator. The output is adjustable from 3 to 24V. The output voltage is set with a small screw potentiometer on the back of the AnyVolt 3. Once the output voltage is set, it does not matter whether input voltage is higher, lower, or the same as the desired output. The potential applications are endless and only limited by the unit's specifications and your collection of gadgets that require DC power at a different voltage than their supply.
Input power and output loads are connected with reusable screw terminals, so no soldering is necessary.

Arduino Duemilanove

The Arduino Duemilanove ("2009") is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega168 or ATmega328 . It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.
"Duemilanove" means 2009 in Italian and is named after the year of its release. The Duemilanove is the latest in a series of USB Arduino boards.
Sabertooth dual 50A motor driver

The Sabertooth 2X50HV is one of the most versatile, efficient and easy to use dual motor drivers on the market. It is suitable for high powered robots - up to 120lbs in combat or 500lbs for general purpose robotics.
Out of the box, the Sabertooth can supply two DC brushed motors with up to 50A each. Peak currents of 100A per channel are achievable for a few seconds.
Overcurrent and thermal protection means you'll never have to worry about killing the driver with accidental stalls or by hooking up too big a motor.
Sabertooth allows you to control two motors with: analog voltage, radio control, serial and packetized serial. You can build many different robots of increasing complexity for years to come with a Sabertooth. Sabertooth has independent and speed+direction operating modes, making it the ideal driver for differential drive (tank style) robots and more. The operating mode is set with the onboard DIP switches so there are no jumpers to lose. Sabertooth features screw terminal connectors - making it possible for you to build a robot without even soldering. The regenerative topology means that your batteries get recharged whenever you command your robot to slow down or reverse. Sabertooth has a built in Switching BEC that can provide up to 500mA of power to a microcontroller or R/C receiver. The lithium cutoff mode allows Sabertooth to operate safely with lithium ion and lithium polymer battery packs - the highest energy density batteries available. Sabertooth's transistors are switched at ultrasonic speeds (32kHz) for silent operation.
